Watch: Suns' Devin Booker, Timberwolves' Jaden McDaniels get into it

The Suns and Timberwolves got chippy in their last regular season game. That continued Tuesday with Devin Booker and Jaden McDaniels.

After Booker took issue with a hard screen from McDaniels, the Phoenix guard shoved him and got whistled for a foul late in the second quarter. But McDaniels continued the extracurricular activity with a post-whistle shove, which got him assessed a technical foul after the officials reviewed the footage.

Both players have been known to get into scuffles before. Earlier this season, McDaniels and the Warriors' Klay Thompson had a fracas in the early minutes of their game in San Francisco. That altercation was more memorable for Draymond Green earning a five-game suspension for putting Rudy Gobert in a chokehold, but McDaniels was ejected for fighting as well.

As for Booker, he's had countless confrontations in his NBA career, scuffling with Grant Williams and Cam Whitmore this season, and once tried to fight with Gorgui Dieng in a tunnel.

McDaniels finished the first half with two personal fouls and Booker had one. Minnesota remained in more foul trouble than Phoenix, with Karl-Anthony Towns missing the entire second quarter with three fouls. But to his credit, he didn't shove anybody.
